The PBIC is managed and operated by staff at the UNC Highway Safety Research Center, including engineers, urban planners, public health specialists, web site specialists, researchers, computer programmers, communication specialists, and others. We partner with the Association of Pedestrian and Bicycle Professionals (APBP) and we also have a team of other Organizations and Consultants who work with the PBIC on a variety of tasks. Our team of experts are very knowledgeable on walking and bicycling issues and are truly committed to improving safety, health, and mobility for those who wish to walk or bicycle.
