Traffic Signals

The bicycle is a legal vehicle on the roadway; therefore, when riding on a roadway, a cyclist is required to follow traffic signal directions, as would a motorist. In addition to roadway signals, there are instances where a specific bicycle signal would be uses, such as for road crossings of multipurpose trails. Cost estimates are provided for bicycle and pedestrian signals, 2-way pedestrian signal activation, 4-way pedestrian signal activation, and loop detectors.
