2014 Alternative Intersection and Interchange Symposium

07/20/2014 – 07/23/2014

Salt Lake City, UT, USA

The purpose of the Alternative Intersection & Interchange Symposium is to explore a wide variety of newer intersection and interchange configurations that have shown promise in improving traffic operations for all users, reducing crashes, and saving money. These configurations include such designs as Jughandles, Michigan Lefts, Diverging Diamond Interchanges, Continuous Flow Intersections, Superstreets, and J-Turns. They may also include other designs that may not have a formal name but have elements similar in concept to other alternative designs.
