The California Bicycle Helmet Campaign is a community service activity aimed at increasing the safety of our children and families. This program was first offered by parent-teacher associations in California schools, but now any organization concerned about kids' safety has the opportunity to conduct the California Bicycle Helmet Campaign. The Campaign can include a bicycle helmet safety education component, bicycle helmet sales, and a follow-up incentive program. Together these steps educate children and families on the importance of wearing helmets, provide an opportunity to purchase affordable helmets, and help to support an environment where wearing a helmet is the popular choice.
