Incorporating Qualitative Data in the Planning Process: Improving Project Delivery and Outcomes

Public agencies are always looking for meaningful public and stakeholder input into the planning process. An ongoing challenge in this process is to engage the community in a relevant, ongoing conversation about change in a way that is focused, respectful, constructive, and intentional. Provides a suite of emerging tools, techniques and resources for public and stakeholder input that, through a more iterative process, can complement existing tools. This report highlights tools and techniques that are applicable to three distinct types of public and stakeholder input.
