"This Pedestrian Safety Handbook was developed by the International Institute of San Francisco, under a grant from the San Francisco Department of Public Health.
"It was designed to help new arrivals to San Francisco understand the special traffic dangers to pedestrians here, keep themselves safer and help organize their communities to improve pedestrian safety. It is distributed by the Health Department as an introduction to pedestrian safety for all San Franciscans."
