Supporting Accessible Sustainable Tranpostration in Our Community

This simple curriculum is designed for use at any time, as a stand-alone program or as part of a larger training activity. Upon its completion, participants will:

  • understand the universal benefits of accessible sustainable transportation (i.e., social, economic, and environmental),
  • be familiar with accessible and sustainable transportation options in their community,
  • be familiar with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) as it relates to public transportation,
  • be able to conduct an environmental barrier analysis, and
  • know how to collaborate with others to improve and strengthen existing transportation options.
