Complete Streets: Prioritizing Safety for All Road Users

Compiles FHWA activities and ongoing efforts to promote the Complete Streets model through the lens of five areas as presented in the Moving to a Complete Streets Design Model: A Report to Congress on Opportunities and Challenges. The five areas include: improving data collection and analysis; supporting rigorous safety assessment; accelerating adoption of standards and guidance; reinforcing the primacy of safety for all road users; and making Complete Streets the FHWA default approach for funding and design for non-access-controlled roadways.
