Safe Streets and Roads for All (SS4A) Grant Program

The USDOT provides Federal funding to prevent roadway deaths and serious injuries. Since December 2023, SS4A grants have provided $1.7 billion to over 1,000 local communities. The SS4A program offers Planning and Demonstration grants for developing or supplementing safety action plans, and Implementation grants for projects identified in these plans.
