Maintaining Pedestrian and Bicyclist Facilities

Well maintained facilities are essential for pedestrian and bicyclist safety. During this FHWA webinar we are going to explore how agencies are maintaining their pedestrian and bicyclist facilities, particular in light of climate change and the expansion of temporary or quick build facilities. In this webinar, panelists from local and State transportation agencies will share their maintenance strategies and lessons learned. The webinar will also be used to kick-off the update to the FHWA Guide for Maintaining Pedestrian Facilities for Enhanced Safety. Following their presentations, panelists will respond to questions from participants. Join us to learn more about pedestrian and bicyclist facility maintenance and also to share your questions, challenges, and lessons learned to help inform the update to the guidance document.
