Evaluating Pedestrian and Bicyclist Safety Improvements
Sep 08, 2022
Communities can learn a great deal by measuring the impact of their investments in pedestrian and bicyclist safety. However, many agencies struggle to routinely plan for and conduct these types of evaluations. During this webinar, panelists will share insights about the value of safety evaluation and examples of how State and local agencies can build evaluation into their work. After an introduction from the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA), panelists from the Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) and San Francisco Municipal Transportation Agency (SFMTA) will share their experiences and lessons learned. Following their presentations, panelists will respond to questions from attendees during a facilitated discussion period.
