Conducting Bicycle Road Safety Audits

Jul 31, 2018

Bicycle Road Safety Audits are valuable tools that can be used by transportation agencies to formally evaluate roadway conditions and better understand factors influencing bicyclist safety and comfort. During this webinar, panelists from the Federal Highway Administration and VHB walked participants through the process of planning and conducting Bicycle Road Safety Audits. They presented prompt lists and resources to help agencies perform audits and share tips and lessons learned from past experiences.

This webinar was supported by the Federal Highway Administration's Office of Safety through a national program to provide training and technical assistance to the FHWA-designated Pedestrian and Bicyclist Safety Focus Cities and States.
